A couple key changes taking place this month, more improvements and investments in making our clients online lives easier!
One of the most dreaded hosting issues, getting good free email. While our competitors are busy closing their email offerings and referring customers to gsuite or other 3rd party email providers, we’re staying committed to providing this valuable free service to clients. To that end we’ve built a new mail server that should allow for much easier access to config files and easier support for Mac’s and iPhone’s. If you’ve struggled setting up custom mailboxes for your domain feel welcomed to reach out to our support team to get setup on this new email offering included with all hosting plans.
Note: how-to documents in the works.
Due to popular demand we’ve brought back Paypal as a payment source, if you’d like your billing switched over to a Paypal subscription just give your support rep an email.
We’ve recently completed 100% rollout of WP 5 across our entire network, if you haven’t noticed a change in your post editor you may have “Classic Editor” plugin installed to prevent Gutenberg from taking over. Feel free to disable that plugin if you’d like to take Gutenberg for a test drive, with around 20% of clients using it on a daily basis we’re confident in its stability, though some features are still lacking such as nofollow checkbox plugins don’t work, other than that small hiccup everything seems great. Have you tried Gutenberg yet?
